   first of all, canker sores are different from cold sores. Cold sores are viral in nature and are contagious, while the cause of canker sores of canker sores are now yet defined and there is not sure cure for it yet. For canker sores, there are many remedies you can take to help soothe the irritation and speed up the healing.

   * Salt rinse
   * Anti acid and diphenhydramine mix
   * Calamine lotion
   * Topical oral treatment

   Canker sores are not contagious. For the best way to avoid both canker sores and cold sores, always strive to maintain a good, healthy diet. The nutrients and vitamins found in wholesome foods are instrumental in helping the body fight off infection and illness of every kind.

   Put salt directly on the canker sore (inside mouth) and let it sting. it heals faster than using just salt water. but if you don’t want to handle a quick 30 sec of pain..then just use salt water. For the cold sores… try Valtrex.

   Something weird i discovered is to put miracle II neutralizer gel on the spot as soon as you feel the tingle. You’ll have very little pain and it will heal in about 3-4 days as opposed to 10-12 days and also won’t scar you up. I’ve also noticed that i don’t have a cold sore in the same spot after i do this.
   So i did some research to find out why this works and i believe that this virus really likes an acid environment and this gel is very basic ( and i mean very basic). I tested with litmus paper and it’s off the charts. So my theory is that the virus just can’t handle getting blasted with a base compound.
   Note: You have to catch it early to reap the full benefit but if you do wait too long it will still help with the pain and scarring but it will run the full course.

   Also, when you google “miracle II neutralizer gel” don’t get wrapped up in all the bullshit (you’ll see what i mean) just order a $10 bottle(mine has lasted 3 years so far) and save yourself a lot of pain.

   I had a huge canker sore in my mouth a while ago! I came here to find out how to get rid of it fast. one of the answers I recieved was to use a non alcoholic mouth wash.
   I swished with Crest Pro Health whenever I thought about it or when the canker was really bothering me. It cleared it up really fast!

   I dont know about a cold sore though, sorry.

   Get sls free toothpaste(at the vitamin shoppe,
   made by Tom’ of maine) and some supplements
   called lysine 500mg!!(in vitamin aisle) at pharmacy!!!

   first of all to avoide them you shouldent eat alot of, saucy , sour food and stuff thats why when u eat something like that it hurts like hell, Like

   hot stuff, noodles, fri chicken, pizza, burrito , and stuff like that

   u have to balance it

   eat some fresh stuff,

   like salad, some fruits and etc (NON GREesy\oily stuff

   and that should get rid of it^

   or just rinse with saltwater everyday if u a man try just salt on it
   :]
