For cold sores on the top lip, what helps it heal faster? Hydrogen peroxide or nail polish remover? or any other suggestions?

Abreva helps if you catch it at the beginning. Otherwise just keeping it moisturized with the Abreva keeps it soft will help so it doesn’t stay painful or scab up and scar.

My great grandma swore by aloe vera, preferably the actual plant.

Do NOT put nail polish remover on it.

Carmex. It is also good for dry lips
