    Nail polish remover…I’m dead serious.
If you don’t believe me, google it. I got rid of my cold sore in like 2 days. You’d be surprised.
    Good luck! : )
Edit: Actually, don’t do the nail polish remover..that actually dries up skin for cold sores.
For a fever blister, you need carmex. It is medicated and has camphor and menthol in it for relief. It is like 96 cents at WalMart.

If you’re referring to cold sores, tooth paste is good for them. For plain old chapped lips, use lip balm.

You probably don’t want to go out with toothpaste on your lips, so for inside it’s fine, but you’ll just have to do with medicated lip balm, or you could also get a prescription cream from your doctor.

If they’re cold sores, be sure to get new lip balm and tooth brushes every once in awhile. You don’t want the virus festering, waiting to hit you again.
